Welcome to Dcodegraphy. These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern all photography, videography, and studio services provided by our company. By booking a session, event coverage, or any service with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Bookings & Payments
- All bookings must be confirmed in advance.
- 100% payment is required before the job or session starts.
- A 50% non-refundable fee applies if the client decides not to proceed after making a booking.
- Bookings are considered valid only after payment confirmation.
- Any changes to booking times must be communicated and confirmed in advance.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- No refunds will be issued once a session or event has started.
- If a client cancels after booking, the 50% non-refundable fee applies as stated above.
- In cases where Dcodegraphy cannot deliver services due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a rescheduled session or an agreed solution.
3. Session Policies & Guest Limitations
- Studio sessions are limited to the agreed number of guests. Unless stated otherwise, a maximum of 5 guests is allowed for each session.
- Clients must arrive on time. Delays will reduce the allocated session time.
- Extra time is billed according to the current rate card (e.g., ₦3,000 per 10–20 minutes, depending on service type).
4. Damages & Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment, furniture, or property during their session.
- Dcodegraphy reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement costs in the event of damage.
- Children or minors must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult.
5. Delivery of Work
- Final images and videos will be delivered within the agreed timeframe (typically 3–5 working days for portraits and longer for events/weddings).
- All deliverables are provided digitally (via flash drives, cloud links, or other methods agreed with the client).
- Once a job is delivered, Dcodegraphy does not keep a backup of clients’ work. Clients are responsible for safely storing their delivered files.
6. Usage Rights & Copyright
- All images and videos produced by Dcodegraphy remain the intellectual property of the studio.
- Clients are granted personal usage rights for photos and videos delivered (e.g., for printing, sharing, or personal promotion).
- Dcodegraphy reserves the right to use selected images/videos for promotional purposes, including portfolios, social media, advertisements, and exhibitions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Commercial usage, resale, or third-party licensing of content must be negotiated separately.
7. Return Policy Terms & Conditions
- 100% payment is required before the job or session starts.
- If a client decides not to proceed after booking, a 50% non-refundable fee applies.
- This agreement follows applicable state laws and regulations.
8. Studio Rules & Safety
- Food, drinks, and hazardous materials are not allowed in the studio unless approved.
- Smoking, drugs, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited on studio premises.
- Clients and guests must comply with safety instructions from studio staff at all times.
9. Limitation of Liability
- While we take every precaution to ensure high-quality results, Dcodegraphy shall not be held liable for:
- Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., power outages, weather conditions for outdoor shoots).
- Personal injury or loss of property during sessions, unless caused by negligence from our staff.
- Maximum liability for any service shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that session.
10. Amendments
Dcodegraphy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website. Clients are encouraged to review this page regularly.
